Some bugs I hope will get fixed

There are some real improvements over the previous app. Searching is a lot easier, and it's now easy to add things to your wish list. Both are things I'm really glad about it. But there are some major bugs I hope get fixed in the next update.
The biggest problem is that it won't let me play downloaded books unless I'm connected to the internet. It just gets stuck on the spinning wheel when I open the app, and it won't stop spinning unless it connects to the internet. There needs to be some kind of offline mode that gets you directly to the books you've downloaded.
Even when I'm connected to WiFi, it often takes a long time to open. Lots of sitting and spinning. And sometimes the downloading of books goes quickly, sometimes it keeps getting stuck (even on good WiFi), like it's forgotten it was supposed to be downloading.
And in the "books on hold" section it doesn't say where you are in line. (Like, #3 on 1 copy). I can see that on the website but not in the app.

Love being able to check out audio books this way through my library. Unfortunately the program is buggy. Whenever I try to restart playing after pausing and going out of the app, it starts over at the beginning of the chapter and/or crashes. Sometimes it won't remember my login info, but if I kill the app and restart it, I'm suddenly logged in again. Despite these complaints, I use it daily on my long work commute and love it.

Update - latest version is better in some ways, but comes with huge irritation: it won't function unless connected to the internet. I shouldn't have to use my cell data just to open and play a book I've already downloaded!!! Also the bug where it won't always play where you left off, but instead restarts the chapter, has not been fixed. If you've got a book with long chapters this is also quite a pain.

These seem like fixable issues but dev doesn't seem to care.

I loved this app so much but the most recent update has brought some negative changes. Namely you cannot see where you land in the holds like for books that are already checked out by others. Before, it would tell you if you were next up or if there were 15 people ahead of you and this was really helpful when planning what I would read next. Now it's extremely difficult and very frustrating when the books I'm interested in are already checked out because I don't know whether to give it a day (because I may be next on the holds list) or read a few books anticipating it taking a while. Additionally, there are other details that cause frustration. Namely, the app takes much more time to load when first opened, even if there's nothing to be downloaded but I imagine this small but will be fixed with the next update. Thank you.
