Great App, it's Fun and Educational
I would rate Orpheus the Lyrical 5 stars. When I initially downloaded the app, I had wanted a fun and educational language arts game, and that is exactly what I got. I really love the game because it not only allows you to participate in great gameplay levels, but in the game you still have to answer figurative language questions. Though I really love the actual gameplay and questions part of the app, I would really like the app developers to consider creating the free version of the app add free. The adds are always popping up all over my screen. This would make the app more enjoyable for everyone who uses the free version of the app. Compared to another language arts related app I got, Werdsmith, Orpheus the Lyrical is a lot more fun, due to the fact that there are no real gameplay options in Werdsmith. In Werdsmith, you can only use the app to write in, the app has no additional purpose. Overall, I love this fun, educational language arts game, Orpheus the Lyrical.
Great app, could be better.
There are some great, fun language arts apps. But none of the other ones were as entertaining as this one. Orpheus The Lyrical is fun with retro type platform levels, and educational figurative Language questions. But there are a few things that I would change about it. One of these would be to be able to choose what the questions are about. For example maybe add questions about main idea, theme or other literary related things. This app is great especially compared to the app Bluster! Bluster only allows you to play simple boring games rather than the enjoyable platformer style levels of Orpheus the Lyrical. Overall, this app was fun and I recommend it to anyone who wants to work on figurative language in an easy, entertaining way.
Love This App!
The app Orpheus the Lyrical is a great app. I like that it involves playing a game while learning figurative language. I downloaded this app because it looked like a fun way to learn and get better without being bored to death. The only thing I would have like it to have is more questions that don't just pertain to figurative language, this is one reason I gave this app 4 stars as opposed to 5. Compared to another app like Wordsmith, I think they did better job by getting the player more involved in the app, as well as making it more fun by allowing the player to learn and play a video game.
