Convenient with poor service

Animefan1208

I'm currently a subscription member and though I enjoy having this magazine available on my devices I find the customer service and the service lacking. I downloaded the latest issue and it went well till the magazine disappeared and this happened more than once and with two different editions I had access to. I try to contact customer service through the app, each time it happened and their response only offered a vague explanation at best. I recently left an email for pocket magazine and will see what they have to say. Mistakes happen but the poor communication and the poor availability is a huge problem at least for me. There still seems to be a lack of communication and now it seems we are receiving the issues later than promised. They say we should get it the day it's available but the few recent issues it seems we don't get it till a week later or longer. I still enjoy the magazine but this service may cause me to find a different source.

Nice to have but poor service

I enjoy having the magazine, but issues appear and disappear on occasion and you don't get certain issues at all. Also, you get the issue weeks after it appears on newsstands and sometimes those don't appear on the app as well.

Awful

kraemder

The magazine is ok. I like anime so any articles about anime I should be able to enjoy. However the app is just a PDF of the print version. It is almost unreadable on the iPhone. The website is far superior and is formatted to be readable on a mobile device. Also the articles are dated. Any issue you read will not be about anime from the current season. I assume that's because they write the articles in advance. I am ignoring this app an sticking to the website.
