Re-added support for local drafts
Bug fixes & stability improvements
You insisted. Your mistake.
I'm tired of the "review this app" popup so let's do this.
This app is as described, but don't expect it to change your life. First off I had to pay to get my work email easily accessible on my iPhone, and then I am unable to view photos inserted into emails from outlook/a PC, on my iPhone. I am a visual merchandiser for a major, international retail corporation. My entire job is photos. What the shiz did I pay for?! Can't you two greedy companies just work together for the sake of the customer (aka THE BASIS OF RETAIL) to let me get my monies worth? Apparently not. Which makes me want to start sending things on paper overnight rather than an email. You are the entire negative aspect of technology.
Whatever. It works good enough, I guess. On a rainy day. When you feel useless anyways, and you can open this app and know someone will understand your feelings. lols.
Probs worth the -$2 I paid for it in the long run, cause I can still view text emails with the greatest of ease, and much quicker than going to the computer, logging in, etc.; and most emails I receive are purely text, while most of what I send out is photos. However for someone communicating with text and photos in the body of the email between PC and Mac regularly- this program is basically irrelevant. Don't walk, RUN to another one.
Like I said though, you all insisted you wanted a review. So there ya go.
New update looks good but does not function well
Update: The updates keep coming and it keeps getting better. Version 3.0 crashed a lot but as of 3.2 it seems stable again on my 1st gen iPad mini. This is a solid five star app, indispensable for people who can only use outlook web access due to work restrictions.
Still waiting for one major fix: When I tap reply the cursor should automatically be at the top of the body and keyboard should come up automatically, would save one extra tap per email (picky but I reply to a lot of emails). I mean really why would I hit reply and then not want to type anything? I won't dock a star for that because I'm sure will be addressed soon :)
The app works great, and the recent updates have really cleaned it up. Stable, easy to use, it just works. Setting up the auto-login is super easy and after that it's seamless.
Wish list for future updates:
Public folders (would be AWESOME)
Drop the Blackberry
Update as of November 2013: The periodic issues seem to have been pretty much eliminated with the most recent updates. Now have few problems with logging in or updating. Still occasionally necessary to go back to the main screen and start fresh, but much better.
I have this app as the first one on my first page of the iPad and first in the bar on my iPhone. It's great for quickly and easily logging on to my work email and calendar. This app let me drop my Blackberry and carry my work laptop mess less. !!'
Recent upgrades make the app better than some may have experienced in the past (calendar, address population).
Overall, a great app. I do still have periodic issues with it needing to be completely reset though.
