Are you a first responder in Pennsylvania looking for an app with protocols and hospital data, iHarig's protocol app is the app for you! Our application is the quickest updated, universal platform, search-enabled protocol app out there. Featuring easy content updates, resources like EMS information bulletins, scope of practice, med lists, and hospital data that includes travel/traffic/distance information- this is the app for those who want the latest version of information from iHarig at their fingertips at all times.
Please note: Active internet connectivity and location permissions are necessary for all features to work. Limited or no functionality may result if these conditions aren't met.
While every effort was made to ensure that the data contained is accurate and up-to-date, providers should be mindful to verify they are always operating in accordance with protocols published by the Commonwealth and the providers respective scope of practice and certification levels. This app also features categorizing resources by whether or not they were a trauma center, recognized STEMI facility, or certified stroke center. Any corrections should be sent in to support immediately.
1) Dropped the drawer menu in favor of tabs across the bottom, which should be helpful during one-handed protocol browsing.
2) Separated resources into "Lists" vs "Information Bulletins", now both are accessible via the "More" tab
3) Set a safe area for users on the iPhone X so that headers and protocols aren't cut off
4) Fixed "Pull to Refresh" so that it is standard across all screens.
5) Changed color scheme of headers to dark in order to help those who work at night
6) Added styling, icons, and made minor memory and network communication enhancements.
Ratings and Reviews
Nice idea but not all features functional
Hospital list doesn’t work.
Developer Response ,
Hello! Please make sure to update to version 3.0, there was a bug in the hospital list (when geocoding) due to the app's geocode provider limiting the amount of requests per second well below what the app was sending out. This caused the app to crash when loading the geocoded results.
While this limitation no longer allows the app to sort by distance, the new version does include live traffic/time/distance for any hospital you select. By doing it one-at-a-time there shouldn't be the same crash behavior as before.
I hope you find the fix works, thank you for your feedback!
Doesn't do anything that saving a PDF to your phone wouldn't do. And this method includes advertisements.
Easy to use
This app is easy to use and has a simple user friendly layout. It can also be used offline, so that you have access your protocols if you lose your connection. The protocols are directly from the 2015 PA DOH update.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
