Great app. Just as good as Fitbit Flex

Prior to Pacer I used a Fitbit Flex2 in order to track my steps, calories burned etc. But I got tired of wearing an Apple Watch on one wrist and a tracker on the other. I tried a number of step trackers (including paid apps) but, they did either not provide all the information I wanted, they were not accurate; did not have a watch application or they just were not appealing.
Then I found Pacer. It has all the information that I want, their interface is easy to navigate and works with Apple Watch.
I've been using it for a few days now and I have found it to be very accurate.
Pacer has all the information I had on my Fitbit Flex and then some. The only thing it lacks is a sleep tracker and for that I use "Auto Sleep" ( another great app). The only thing that I found that Pacer lacks (and I wish it had) was an Apple Watch Complication so I could see my step count by just tapping on the watch face icon instead of having to open the app on the dock, which it sometimes lags and I get the spinning gear of death.
However, overall I give it FIVE STARS and I recommend the app to anyone that wants to monitor their step count or exercise. I would recommend this app to my friends.

Higher mileage...

I've been using Pacer for about four months, after upgrading to a phone with a motion coprocessor. Generally, Pacer reports that my walks are about a half mile longer than Apple Health app and mapping Google directions from points A to B. I assume that the processor catches the nooks and crannies of my footsteps, which makes me feel that I've done more. Rah! With the recent two updates, Pacer added a lot more info to digest. Interesting if you're into stats. Two requests to consider please, (a) add Siri app support so that I can use Siri to pause Pacer, and (b) add an option to either pause whatever is playing when the GPS Voice announces user selected feedback or allow the GPS voice to be behind whatever is playing. (Generally, I listen to podcasts and the GPS voice overpowers what is playing such that I have to rewind the podcasts.) Thanks!

This is the best pedometer on the App Store but it has one major flaw

I would give this 5 stars without hesitation if they would finally add an option to adjust step sensitivity. Please developers, if you are reading this, just add sensitivity to settings. A lot of my walking is done indoors with my phone in my hand. Thousands of steps per day. Pacer does not record any steps at all when I do this. Literally zero steps recorded. To be fair, other pedometers can't record these steps either, unless they have a high sensitivity setting. My phone is not the issue, because I just upgraded to a 6 plus, and I have had the same issue with 2 other phones before this one. There are plenty of crappy free pedometer apps with multiple sensitivity settings, so it can't be that hard to implement.
