Finally, an app version of the PaceWheel! And it works just like the physical one but Is affordable enough to have all my athletes get a copy, too.
I have used the Original PaceWheel for four years now coaching high school cross country and track, and it made quick work of all the tedious pace calculating for everyday workouts. The times the PaceWheel gives are very close to the Daniels paces, though slightly more conservative.
The color coding of the paces is much easier for the new runners to understand and is also a great reminder for my experienced runners that we have to train at specific intensities to get better.
Maybe next version they'll put the color-coded training calendars and videos right in the app, though they are available on the website.
