Bug and crash fixes
Should be a relatively simple fix
Panera app has been wonderful in the sense that 1) a Panera is directly on my way to work, and 2) I don't have a lot of time in the morning, or at any other part of the day, for that matter! And 3) without being able to order ahead and pick up food, I would have nothing to eat all day.
Sounds great? Well, it should be, except for the all too frequent situation, that I have ordered something that the location is out of.
Now part of my concern is related to how my particular location handles this. Clearly that's not the app. But it could be fairly well resolved by adding to the app, the same sort of instructions I find on many of the other food apps I use: "IF out of an item, 1) Remove Item from order and proceed with remaining, 2) Substitute 'X', or 3) Contact me".
I understand that it might be technically difficult to keep the menu updated moment by moment. But to discover an order isn't ready because I inadvertently ordered a cookie this not available, spend 10 to 15 minutes waiting to speak to someone, have them figure out the problem, and then complete preparing my "Rapid Pick-up" order (that is now the opposite of Rapid Pick-up) is maddening.
Nutrition info needs to be fixed
Love the app, and I like that anytime I have an issue and call in the customer service reps are super friendly and helpful. But I've noticed in this version that when you modify an item the nutritional details don't accurately update. Take olives out of the Greek salad and suddenly it has 0 cal, oatmeal minus the toppings is 19 cal or 0 depending on the type. Please fix this
Fabulously Quick & Easy to Use
This app is pretty, simple, and fast. The rapid pick-up feature is superb, and I also love the ability to pay with gift cards through the app. I was not a regular Panera customer but within a few days this app has transformed me into a loyalist. Well done!
