What's New in Version 2.6.0
We've lined up some great changes to line drawing in Think Kit:
- Snappier new connectors
- Lines inside shapes connect more perfectly with boundaries, making it easier to subdivide shapes.
- Lines close to the outsides shapes stay separate from shapes, making detailed graphing easier.
- Flow charts are easier to make with connectors that align vertically or horizontally to shapes.

- We've fixed some bugs in the Pencil firmware upgrade. If you've been having trouble connecting or upgrading, please upgrade your Pencil's firmware in this release.
Every app or ios update will delete your drawings and purchased tools.
This app has major potential and some people can really create some incredible works of art. BUT, If you look back in their customer service logs it's nothing but post after post after post from people who have lost all the drawings and their tools that they purchased and paid money for. It's happened to me every time the iOS or the app updates and it seems like it's been happening for at least two or three years according to the dates on all of the letters to customer service. You have to export your drawings to a PDF format and you permanently lose the ability to revise them in any way.
I will say that there does seem to be fairly rapid response from their support people but you'd think they'd be tired of answering the same complaint over and over. We pay good money for these tools. They need to invest back in their program and make it work right.
No portrait orientation though
Love this app, it does so many things well and they keep updating it to make it better and add new features. The only thing That would make me love it more though would be a portrait orientation function. Right now this app only works In landscape, and while you can still draw just fine in this mode, backing out to browse through all your drawings requires the extra step of rotating your iPad back to landscape mode. It may not sound like much, but when you're lying on your back or some other position where it's easier to hold the iPad in portrait, it'd be nice to be able to keep holding it in portrait, and not have to rotate it back. Other than that though, this app is great, I use it all the time!
good for a free app
What you get for free from this app is more than other drawing apps. It has a lot to offer and is nearly perfect. I don't like the undo 'rewind' function. It covers part of your page and as a result it isn't easy to see what you are undoing. I don't know why most drawing apps are so opposed to simple undo and redo buttons. This app would get five stars from me if it had two more brushes: an airbrush and a crayon. Brush size control would also be a major plus and would make me look past the missing airbrush. The watercolor brush is great but sometimes you need the soft edges of an airbrush. Also a crayon tool could provide a great texture for certain works. I would even be willing to buy a premium version of this app if it had those tools and brush size control.
