Paperbark is a charming game that tells a beautiful short story of a wombat, the bush and a very hot Australian Summer.
Follow a sleepy wombat who spends its day exploring and foraging, while in search for a new home.
Wander through a beautifully stylized interpretation of Australia, and watch as you bring the illustrated landscape to life, through vibrant watercolors and sounds.
Inspired by iconic Australian storybooks and landscape artists, Paperbark will make a wonderful addition to anyone's library.

Ratings and Reviews
Nice game but needs improvement. Imagine being an animal which, when it wants to go somewhere, does not immediately move in that direction, but turns first to point itself where it wants to go, then starts moving forward. Dumb, right?
Also very annoying to have to tap the screen every 1-2 seconds, because the field of view is so small you can’t see more than a few paces ahead.
Would be a nice, quiet game to relax with, except for these issues.
Beautiful, but very little replay value.
The visuals and audio are stunning. The story is fair but “game play” is incredibly short. I didn’t understand that as I collected insects and such my counts for those items never went up. Appreciate it for what it is..... an excuse to watch beautiful graphics with terrific audio. It’s not the story or gameplay that the focus is on.... and when it’s this well done, that’s alright.
Thanks for the review. We've released an update which should fix a couple of these issues you mentioned. We're also aiming to develop it further- the Auto-Play is a good suggestion! We'll see what we can do!
Beautiful art, dreamy music, fun for the family
I’ve been waiting for this to release since PAX East 2017. I loved it then, and I love it now. The art is beautiful. I love how you uncover the mist and smoke as the wombat walks around. The music is so relaxing and lofty. This is a great game to wind down with. It also makes for a good kid’s game, as it tells a story.
