The Augmented Reality Installation Parallel Musing offers a view to a scenario in parallel existence. Virtual reality and real space are combined and real and virtual phenomena correlate in space. Using a tablet one can experience a three-dimensional environment showing humanlike fragments in life-size generated in real-time which fits in seamlessly with the real space. A miniature trigger-object will be made available to viewers that by use of an app for mobile devices can trigger a small version of the scenario wherever wanted. The aim was to create an atmosphere of a technoid setting to evoke chains of associations related to digital affairs. The trigger-image itself is a composition of fragments of the project´s code translated to machine language.
Download the printable trigger-card at tinamuliar.net and bring either with your smartphone or tablet the miniature version of the original scene to life, you can also point your device-camera at the trigger-card images directly on your screen at the homepage. The trigger-card images work best under daylight-conditions.
