PARALLEL PLUS™ Online is for pastors, lay leaders, and others actively seeking a deeper understanding of the Scriptures. PARALLEL: up to 7 columns, 100+ versions. PLUS Greek and Hebrew word studies (verse lists, unabridged Thayer and BDB, word families). PLUS exegetic helps (parsings, translation tips). For online use. Install now.
EXPERIENCE IT: As you read down the column in one version, when you encounter a verse you'd like to better understand, just move your eyes left-and-right to see how other versions express that verse in its context, and then continue reading the chapter. The idea is to introduce as little eye movement as possible, so you can get into the Scriptures and stay there for a while.
WORD STUDY: Tap any word to lookup the corresponding Hebrew or Greek word and its occurrences. Or tap to lookup Greek details in a verse (phonetics, parsings, parts of speech, translation tips).
SHARE: Show your followers all of your notes. Then each can choose to read your notes in his own Parallel Bible. As you add and change notes, everyone's Parallel Bible is automatically updated. May this help you deliver the gospel message even more effectively.
HIGHLIGHT VERSES, MAKE NOTES: Sign in to make notes and highlight verses. Engage more now; recall more later.
WORD STUDY, BIBLICAL LANGUAGES: This app makes it easy to study words and the passages they occur in, to go deeper and get even more out of what you read in the Bible. Tap any verse, then tap “word study” to see: verse lists, lexical entries, and word families . Tap any verse, then tap “biblical languages” to see verse-at-a-time helps: color-coded parts-of-speech, word forms, phonetics, syllables, and translation tips.
It also helps you find familiar Bible verses, even when you only remember a few words. Enter "God so loved" in the search box and see where that phrase occurs in every Bible version you have open.
SOCIAL: This app supports you in sharing the gospel with your friends right at the moment you are reading a Bible verse and thinking of someone in your life.
PROTESTANT, ROMAN CATHOLIC, BOTH: This app automatically aligns verses—by verse content!—and displays corresponding verse numbers when different.
COMMENTARY FREE: The act of reading versions in parallel helps readers to understand more deeply. Even without commentary. We feel this is so important that we do not include commentary in our app.

Most used app
I'm a full time preacher so I study every week for 2 sermons and an adult Bible class. This app is perhaps the most valuable app I have for my study. I would dare say I use it almost every day. I love seeing the passage I'm studying in four of the major translations. I love seeing New Testament passages with the Greek text. I love that this app shows me every passage where a certain Greek word is located. I love that there is a book count for where the word appears. I love that I get the other Greek words in the same family. I love that parsing is available for each word. In short I love this app and use it constantly.
The parallel editions and the Greek and Hebrew tools are wonderful. They really speed up access to better understanding a translation. It has been a process to get to this point, as I think the work is done by volunteers. It would be great to cross reference to early Greek and Semitic works to help with context, similar to the net Bible approach, but looking at which century and which passages were used to see what interpretations were and how they evolved. The format offers a lot of possibilities. Wonderful tool, and you can take notes or copy to other apps as well.
I am old guy, so I can remember actual physical books :-)
I use to have and love my parallel Bible, but it was so bulky and heavy and was limited to 4 different translations. Now, with this app, I can have the benefit of not only comparing various Bible translations, but also view the original Greek, make individual word studies, whole verse studies, highlight and/or make notes (without ruining my Bible :-) and many other features I have yet to explore...and all
in a device I can carry in my pocket! Amazing!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
