Unfair

Let me tell you a story. You are clearly winning. You need that 5 to get the last piece home, but what’s this?? Your opponent got a doubles after a doubles and jumped a big leap, all you need is a 5, you get a doubles, then another doubles, then... no 5. You are really good at math and know that the chances of getting a 5 in 1 die is 1/6 but these are 2 dice. That’s 1/3 and you still have 4-1 2-3 rolls so the chances of getting a five are good. Your opponent makes it to its path of home and finally you lose because your opponent, besides playing badly, got the right rolls. This is the story of this game. This was the story of the lost 5, there’s still the story of the lucky roll when you have no choice but to put yourself in a risky situation and then your opponent eats you. It gets rewarded not one, but multiple times
This game is completely unfair and not fun. It was fun at first, but then after a statistical analysis, I found out that the game is just unfair. I have lost like 70% of the games due to me getting a triples double penalty/ my opponent rolling the perfect numbers/ and my opponent eating my piece with a lucky number

Could have been a great game

I’ll just repost this review, since I just lost a game where I was leading 3-0 and was taken off the board 8 times and lost:
Just suffered through another “miracle roll” game where my highly-ranked opponent seemed to be dialing in the dice for whatever they needed. It just ruins the game. I have never seen real dice rolls in the actual board game which compare to what happens here. It would be millions-to-one odds in many instances, and it happens nearly every time I play a very highly endowed opponent. The odds of seeing millions-to-one games that frequently must be trillions to one. I would think I was just the (un)luckiest guy on the planet if I hadn’t read all the uncountered, apparently unread, reviews with similar accounts.

Dice are rigged

I used to really like playing this game, but the dice are so clearly not random that it’s no longer any fun. Some players will roll two sets of doubles on three or four turns in a row. Meanwhile I’ll roll a 1 and a 2 or a 1 and a 3 multiple turns in a row. Also, the other players will get the exact number they need every time to get safe or send me home, but I almost never get a good roll. I don’t have to win every time, but I would like the game to be fair. And, the more money you play for, the more rigged the game is. I don’t know if the game has been hacked or if the developers have set it up to not have random rolls, but one way or the other, it’s unfair and not much fun.
