Launch the Parranda app, select your favorite instrument (or the Parrandator 5-in-1 multi-instrument if you can't decide!), and begin playing your own latin rhythms. Shake for maracas, slide up and down for the güiro, and tap for latin drums, trombone, clave, and cowbell sounds. Select your favorite view for each instrument (zoom in or full view).
Can't carry a rhythm to save your life? Don't worry! The Parranda app has your back! Select one of five savory rhythms from the 'ritmos' menu and play along with your favorite instrument. You'll sound like a Puerto Rican pro!
To maximize your Parranda experience, we recommend hooking up your iPhone or iPod touch to external speakers or your home entertainment center sound system. Parranda's high-quality recordings sound best when played through external speakers - the louder the better!

What's New in Version 3.2
Very good percussion teaching instrument!
Gave a class at a private school in Ocala, Florida on December 18,2013 and the High School students were very impressed with the development of the " Jibaro" music. I used the App to explain how to play each percussion instrument and how it varied thru the years. The App is awesome and when are you going to make one App for "Salsa" ?
This one features the basic instruments you'd find in a Puerto Rican Xmas carollers' kit. I expected plenera drums instead of bongos, the trombone is a cheesy MIDI iimitation with fixed tunes, and the cowbell pair won't be fast enough when you alternate them, but the basic grooves are there, and are pretty decent! So are the other instruments. I'd love a tempo control and a tunable slider for each instrument, but this App is pretty cool... A portable asalto!!!
