Indispensable DJing app
Best-in-class DJing app. Volume cross fade, easy playlist reorganizing, can pull directly from pre-made playlists. I would buy it again if I could.
A great way to enjoy my music collection without hassle!
I've been using Party Monster instead of the built-in Music app for a few days now, and have been very happy about how effortless it makes the task of cueing up multiple songs or albums whenever I feel inspired to hear something in particular. Add as much as you like, whenever you like, reorder it however you want, and then let the app take care of the rest so you can just enjoy the music. The Music app is frustrating at best for creating on-the-fly playlists, so Party Monster definitely offers something worthwhile and in a simple but carefully thought out way.
I would like options of seeing the full playback history (instead of just the last 4 songs) and saving/exporting/sharing playlists, etc., but even without those additions it's still a great app for inspired listening.
I've had this app for over three years and I have never deleted it once, despite an ongoing struggle with low space that lasted for eleven months (now that I have the iPhone 6, that's no longer an issue). It's fluidity is amazing and I am yet to encounter any type of bug whatsoever. Its diversity in terms of features like crossfade and 'Refuse to play Nickelback' make it highly preferable over the queueing feature that was recently implemented in the default Music app, which I personally have found to be extensively buggy. Overall, this app is amazing and I highly recommend it with no complaints. In fact, my only suggestion would be an update with different colored themes, as the purple can be bothersome to some guys who may have this app. Definitely worth the money!
