A good game
I expected a lot of this game, coming from Bowmasters. Naturally, after playing such a great game for a long duration I was excited to see a name game created by the same developers. Whilst Partymasters certainly lives up to a lot of expectations, I have to approach this from a standpoint of someone completely unaware of its background. Partymasters is a good game, with nice concept, and a bit of addicting gameplay. The additions that slowly come to choice as you progress through the game is a great way to keep the player entertained, it really doesn’t add much after you progress much further. It gets boring. Sure the constant tapping is entertaining and it kept me going for awhile, but it doesn’t bring much to the plate. And I can’t fail to bring up the absolute obvious Advertising. Advertisements pop up constantly, distracting one from the game, and just downright boring then in the manner of waiting so much to go through a useless, cash grab of a video. It just gets so progressively irritating. Partymasters does however takes advantage from the simplicity of the animation, game design, and suffers from the consistency, and constant advertisements that really demoralize and downgrade gameplay. If advertisements were lighter, this game would easily have received an 4/5. Overall, not as good as Bowmasters in my honest opinion, but still worth some of your time, as it does have a good game still, but just couldn’t exactly pack the punch it was attempting to give.
Made to Make Money
So there are some apps that are free and have the occasional ad to get a bit of revenue. There are games and apps that require you to buy a 1 year subscription or a 1 month subscription for any really good benefits and to get rid of ads. Usually these are around $5 for a month or like $15 for a year.
Now this app is on a different level. It bombards you with ads. Can’t go longer than 30 seconds of play without an ad. (Sometimes you get to 40 seconds, but it’s this ridiculous). Everything you can want to can watch an ad for. They give you plenty of opportunities to watch them. And so many are forced anyhow. Watch an ad to start playing the game, watch an ad now that you’ve gained a level, watch an ad now that you’ve upgraded your cash. Now let’s say you want to get rid of ads. It’s $7.99 a week. They give you a free 3 day trial but it automatically subscribes you to it and you have to cancel a whole day before your scheduled to pay. So if you got the free subscription but wait till the last day to cancel. You’re out of $8. Not to mention this is an insane amount of money for what you’re actually getting.
This game is mindless and fun enough. But it’s drowning in a sea of ads there just so that the developers can make as much cash as possible. Steer clear of this game and any others by this developer. They clearly only care about the money.
I love this game
I just downloaded it today for the first time and as a fan of clicker and idle games, I fell in love with it. However, there are a ton of ads and it gets in the way of the gameplay. I like that both upgrades, free chests and rewards are plentiful, but the ads are just...no. I hate them. They’re terrible. I can never tell when one will pop up and usually afterwards it shows me the premium membership thingy they offer, which is just ridiculous. $7.99 per week for a silly game? And no other subscription options? And no other way to remove ads? Please take away some of the extra ads. I’m fine with a constant banner (preferably on the top of the screen so it doesn’t get in the way of the upgrades tabs) and at least a timer to warn us when another one is coming. It’s stressful and unnecessary. I bet many other players agree and it makes the game look messy anyway. But aside from that, this game is pretty solid, and I enjoy playing it. I recommend it to other fans of idle games and people looking for something fun to do to pass the time.
