Since 1986, the Passport to Your National Parks® program has helped millions of visitors record their national park visits by collecting Passport cancellations at visitor centers and contact stations.
A map feature provides easy access to the location of more than 1,000 Passport to Your National Park cancellation locations. Park listings identify the year and stamp type when featured on the annual Passport commemorative stamp sticker set.
This digital Passport Companion allows you to explore every unit of the National Park Service, mark parks you would like to visit and those you have visited. You can search parks by name, state or “nearby” using GPS technology. There is a digital scrapbook for each park that allows you to log a journal entry, record the date of your visit, and import photos with descriptions. You can find park addresses, phone numbers, National Park Service websites, plus entrance fee and junior ranger program information.

What's New in Version 1.4.7
Fixes crash on launch with iOS7 devices.
Adds additional park information.
Nice, but a bit more work needed
If you're familiar with the paper NPS passport, this is a serviceable mobile version. Definitely not for planning visits, but neither is the passport. Nice way to keep track of visits. It allows you to add notes and even photos associated with your visit. The ability to earmark parks you'd like to visit in the future was a nice addition.
I wish it allowed the ability to backdate visits (so I could include park visits made long before the app (or mobile phones) were a thing. Currently it adds the date the entry was added to your phone as the date of visit, without a way to alter it.
Fantastic! Love it!
Passports is such a fun program - adds to the enjoyment of visiting our wonderful national parks.
Found the app when trying to locate all the parks that might be around our road trip - wow - Maps, gps, park information, websites in this app - has it all and all worked.
No problem using it - great app!
And you can add visits - also previous visits - whatever date you want! When is the update going to happen??
Nice, but bland.
My app won’t allow me to save/edit or describe anything. It just has the edit and done button. When I try to, it crashes.
I also thought it would allow me to upload photos and save my passport stamps to the app..no such luck either.. Bit of a waste of time really other then having a list of parks.
I wish someone would write a paperless passport app.. please?
