Pathfinder Adventures, the digital adaptation of Paizo Inc.'s Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, translates the world's best-selling Pathfinder Roleplaying Game into an entirely new breed of card game, where players cooperatively battle monsters and villains, and acquire new feats, items, weapons and allies.
Role-players will find the game's character development very familiar. Characters have classes such as fighter, wizard, and rogue, as well as numbers that define strength, dexterity, intelligence, etc. You'll improve your character by acquiring new items, allies, spells, and weapons as you explore and overcome challenges; over time, you'll be able to customize your deck to better suit your own individual vision of your character.
The game can be played solo, or with other adventurers using built-in pass-and-play functionality.
Pathfinder Adventures is free to download and play, however, some game items can be purchased for real money. If you don't want to use this feature, please disable in-app purchases in your device's settings.
A network connection is required to earn in game currency during play.
• Explore the towns, cities, dungeons and landscapes of the Rise of the Runelords campaign, including the fiercely-independent Sandpoint and the goblin-infested isle of Thistletop.
• Every locale has been transformed from a card image to beautifully enhanced and animated backdrops.
• Reactive cut scenes featuring Pathfinder's iconic characters.
• An interactive tutorial ensures the game is easy to learn for new adventurers and veterans of the Pathfinder universe alike.
• No physical card game set-up required. Pathfinder Adventures gets players straight into the action.
• Multiple adventure profiles so that players can experience the campaign using every character.
• Single player and pass-and-play multiplayer gameplay mode.

What's New in Version 220.127.116.11
-Valeros' Recharge Power has returned! Actually, all characters that had a recharge ability that wasn't working should be back. While fixing an exploit issue with a pesky thuggish gnome we fixed him but broke the recharge ability as a whole.
-Ranzak's superior Ransack power should actually let you have that 66% change to get another explore after getting a boon.
-Unicode fix where nicknames looked fine upon exit of the game but the next launch of the game garbled the text.
-Certain cards had sorting issues where it seemed like there was a progression break if you didn't go back to the Main Menu.

This game satisfies all my game needs, and is the only game I've put any money into. This game scratches my DnD itch whole being the only mobile game I need.
I hit a frustrating glitch recently and the support staff were incredibly helpful.
Great game, app could be better
I love the mechanics of the game and each scenario not only feels unique but different difficulties give extra flair. You feel an actual sense of progress as you incrementally upgrade your characters and their builds. There is also incentive to try new cards or builds just to get through certain missions and to even acquire "junk" items to banish during some missions. I also don't mind paying for content either as I feel I'm getting my money's worth for the time spent in game.
So why not five stars? The first issue I have is that the app crashes too frequently, usually when starting a scenario or managing items/party size. You don't lose any mission progress when this happens but if you spent twenty minutes rearranging your inventory to determine what to sell off, it's frustrating to redo it. It also breaks the immersion.
Second is the stash and character inventory system. As soon as a mission ends, you need to sell off cards to get down to 10 in your stash, before you have the opportunity to transfer those items to your nonparty characters. You also need to make sure each of your characters are at their card limits, which means you sometimes have to sell things you don't want to or you have to add a junk spell or item just to fill the requirement before you can rearrange. This could be easier to solve if you weren't forced to lower your stash or adjust your characters until your next mission attempt. Instead this process happens immediately after a mission ends.
If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to not allow characters to be in missions unless they are valid and not allow a new mission to begin until the stash is valid. Then get rid of the post-mission stash trim step. That way, I can just rearrange everything between my characters and my mules in one step instead of trimming the stash, then dispersing items to mules and bringing in junk to fit card limits, then bringing in items I really want to use from other mules and dispersing the junk so the mules are again legal.
Fixing the crashes would be a higher priority though.
