The Pavlok wristband is a behavioral changing tool that helps users break bad habits as well as form good ones using a stimulus of their choosing (zap, beep, or a vibration). Pavlok utilizes the latest technology backed by 80+ years of scientific research based on aversion therapy, which helps users associate their bad habit with an unpleasant effect.
The Shock Clock is based on the Pavlok wristband but focuses solely on allowing the user to wake up on time and get out of bed. The device trains the individual to wake up to a chosen time and in most cases before the alarm even goes off. The user can decide to have a silent vibration, beep alarm, or receive a zap. NEW* Snooze Lock option that forces the user to perform jumping jacks to shut off the alarm, and sleep analysis to help users better understand if they’re truly getting enough rest. The app will even remind you when it’s time to go to sleep each night.
Use this app for the following features:
Commit to good habits you wish to form, or break bad habits you have already developed all while keeping track of your progress. Remember each time you had an urge, a check in (when you’ve done the habit), and have the chance to add personal notes to yourself throughout the day. Track, the number of zaps, to better understand when you’re doing that bad habit. Set alarms to wake up, not miss that meeting, etc. You are now able to set multiple alarms!
Get a better night's rest by tracking your sleep with sleep analysis! Turn on Snooze Lock and be forced to wake up and get out of bed in the morning by performing jumping jacks.
Set a timer so that when the time is up, your Pavlok reminds you.
Set your Pavlok to zap, beep, or vibrate at a particular interval.
Set reminders to do things such as head to the gym, drink water every 30 minutes, etc.
Set a stopwatch to zap you, keeping your hands free!
See the existing integrations for your Pavlok such as integrations with your Chrome browser, Slack, IFTTT, and much more.
Pavlok app also integrates with health kit so you can monitor your sleep patterns in apple health app

It will constantly struggle to connect to blue tooth. Then when it does it’s a roll of the dice to whether or not it will stay connected overnight. Also the vibration will always trigger when you stop the alarm which is annoying and loud. The idea was to wake up quietly next to a light sleeper. The vibration is too loud for that and along with the risk of it never actually staying connected to blue tooth. Those are the reasons I purchased it and for that it’s a 1 star from me. It is simply unreliable at best.
Developer Response is bogus. I have already dealt with their “tech” support and there is nothing that keeps your alarms synced. If this is your only device to wake you up then you will most certainly oversleep.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your Pavlok.
If you haven't already, please contact us so we can help troubleshoot this issue. There are many reasons you might be experiencing issues, all of which can be resolved quickly with a few tips.
All alarms are saved to the device, so there is no need to keep the bluetooth on your phone active, or have the Pavlok paired to the app.
We are also working on making the alarms and notifications more customisable.
I am not a scientist, nor do I play one on tv, but this wristband got me to stop biting my nails, AND, to stop thinking about my ex. I’d just keep thinking about her... not even wistfully... but she just took up a lot of real estate in my brain... 2 weeks of Pavlok, and I generally stopped thinking about her, and when I did run across something that reminded me of her, the emotional drain was gone. Now I’m working on reducing negative emotions/ complaining. I’ll keep you posted!

Something big and disruptive
I love the whole purpose and science behind the PavLok. It is great that we are moving out of the dark ages of brain science and into a new paradigm. This app is not perfect yet, it is still being developed and tweaked and this is the case with all early adopting tech. Let’s be honest if your willing to invest $295 on yourself on the newest bio hack then you know your an early adopter, and it sis people that work the kinks out and help a product reach readiness for the masses. The app has good bones, I like the choice on downloading mini-apps for the app to customize the product to what your looking for. I love the gaming style reward system and the Volts future crypto currency that will be a game changer for reward point systems. I’ve had great responses with support for bugs I’ve discovered along with questions. The more of us that point out the bugs the faster they’ll fix them. If your at all curious about this product, do your self a favor and take the plunge. I am glad I did. I’m giving 4 / 5 as it is still a work in progress...
