What's New in Version 4.4.4
Buttons in the Touch Bar will now make click sounds if you have the "Key Click" option on.
You can now display, copy, and paste the current value as UTF-32, so Emoji characters now work properly.
Fixed a problem display the "M" indicator in the Mac "Basic Large" layout.
Fixed a crash accessing the menus if you had any custom layouts installed.
A great utility
I’ve used pcalc3 on my Mac Dashboard for years, and just installed the superb pcalc4 on my iPhone and Mac. I especially appreciate the ability to have a simple calculator to do my checkbook in portrait mode, and then a full-blown HP15-like scientific calculator by simply tipping the phone to landscape. I was pleased to see that pcalc uses the touchbar on my new MacBook Pro, and i edited it to display my own most-used functions (plus, minus, multiply, divide, and reciprocal). I appreciate all the stored constants that are included (even 42!); for fun I worked out the mean density of fhe earth without having to look outside PCalc.
I use it a lot, but for programmers...
It’s great except that: You can’t enter 64bit hex numbers! You can’t use _ to separate every four hex digits! (Updated due to developer’s response. Had to delete the old review - couldn’t update it. Apparently the former point will be fixed. The second has been taken as a suggestion.)
