I use this every day for my work. Works really, really well. There are probably no perfect apps, but this one pretty much delivers on every level you could want. You can use it as a stand-along app, set it up to synch with Dropbox, etc. Off hand, the only thing I wish it could do is allow me to more quickly change font size by typing in the exact font size I want to use and also, allowing me to quickly go to super large font. I use it for both legal agreements - where the font size tends to all be 10 to 16 in size - and to annotate PDFs that were made from photos. Since the PDFs of photos are much larger documents data-wise, a word using a 16 font size character, which would look plenty large on a text document, looks tiny if I've converted a photo to a PDF. Actually, there is one more thing. I wish that it were easier to create a circle and place it, for the purpose of highlighting a particular feature in a photograph, and I also wish one could easily place a default arrow - not draw the arrow, have an arrow be the default shape that gets placed on the document - and then be able to resize that arrow as to length, thickness and where each end of that arrow would end. Still, all in all, it's a tremendous tool and quite logical to use. Great job making it!
I am a student and use PDF's day in and day out for slides, textbooks, forms, and other reading assignments. This app is outstanding. If you are looking for one PDF app to rule them all, this is the one. I have Noteability, iAnnotate (legacy, not the new v4 version,) Goodreader, Foxit, and Adobe, and this outperforms all of them overall. Noteability is slightly better at handwriting recognition, but falls short in basically every other respect, particularly in syncing and file management. I think iAnnotate and Goodreader's syncing is slightly faster, but their compatibility with other PDF software and their annotations is poor (they often can't recognize each other's annotations, while PDF Expert can,) and their annotations aren't as clean, fast or easy as PDF Expert's. Foxit Mobile is MUCH slower than PDF Expert. One of the biggest perks for me is that I use Foxit Reader on my Windows computer (which is phenomenal software given it is free,) and PDF Expert can read annotations I make with it while all the other PDF readers I've mentioned (except for Adobe) can't.
If you are going to spend time working with PDF's, buy this. No question.
You can't afford not to have this
I am a uni student and a business man.
I annotate all my uni slides and sign documents and fill out forms, highlight, underline, make notes. I have shown this to so many other students who use an iPad Pro and they have all downloaded it after I showed them what it is and how it Syncs with google drive and iCloud. It is brilliant. It is intuitive and feels like apple software. I also want to add that I never EVER recommend apps but this one is the most used app I have on my phone for business and for school. It has enabled me to go COMPLETELY paperless. I complete all my tutorial sheets and exams without every using a printer. I write directly on the documents and I just discovered it also allows you to ADD blank paper lined or other types in the middle of documents to make additional notes and answer question sheets which you can email or store on could storage. If you're a busy executive that needs to sign documents a or a student you CANNOT afford NOT to have this app.
