+ Copy Files From Mac or PC via Wi-Fi and USB
Use iTunes file sharing to transfer files directly to your iPad or iPhone via USB cable. As an alternative connect your iOS device running PDF Expert 5 via Wi-Fi and operate it like a wireless flash drive. No additional software is required.
+ Save Email Attachments
Open attachments directly from the Mail app. Also, you can open PDF files from any other application on the iPad or iPhone via "Open In..." dialogue.
+ Sync your files with various cloud services
PDF Expert 5 allows you to download and upload files from Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive and other services. If you use more than one cloud storage, PDF Expert 5 will handle all of them.
+ Share Files With Your Friends
Email files directly from PDF Expert 5 with all annotations you made.
+ Protect Documents with Password and Encryption
Restrict access to PDF Expert 5 with a password to protect your files from unauthorized reading. Enable iOS Data Protection to encrypt everything while your iPad or iPhone is not in use.
+ Text To Speech (only on iPad)
You can listen to e-books or audio files on the road or when you don’t feel like reading. PDF Expert 5 intelligently processes PDF books and uses iOS text- to-speech API to read them aloud.
And one more thing:
• Review Mode •
The Review Mode allows you to mark up PDF documents in a very special way. Just tap anywhere on the text where you need changes and correct it in the text editor. The text that you delete is marked as removed while everything you add is shown as new text in different colors. Currently available only on iPad.

What's New in Version 5.7.7
+ General performance and stability improvements.
Please, spend a minute and leave a quick review in the App Store. It really helps others make a better decision before downloading PDF Expert 5.
Would be excellent if it didn't crash so often.
This is definitely one of the best pdf readers/annotators in the AppStore because of its many annotating features and tabs allowing you to work with multiple pdfs simultaneously. I use it to store dozens of my textbooks. However, the app repeatedly crashes unexpectedly when you are doing nothing other than viewing a page. It doesn't just happen at the moment you attempt to open a PDF or change the page, but it can happen afterward like a minute after you have finally navigated to the page you want and are busy reading. Perhaps it has problems handling pdfs with large file sizes as the majority of mine are textbooks with hundreds of pages rather than 2-3 page forms business professionals might work with on a daily basis. I suppose this app would be excellent if those kinds of pdfs are what you primarily work with. I had thought that the latest update would have mitigated the frequent crashes, but it doesn't. Worse is that after a crash it opens your PDF to a random page rather than the page you were on and you waste time trying to navigate to it again. I really want this app to work! It does everything I want a PDF app to do! Please fix it soon!
Best app ever for academics, but new version has major issues
UPDATE: I love PDF expert, but the current version seems worse than previous versions in terms of syncing -- it takes longer and there are more errors. Why? Also, you used to be able to move files around into and between your synced folders. Now, if a file is in PDF expert but not in one of my synced folders (say, because I just opened it in PDF expert from an email), and I want to put it into my synced Dropbox folder, I have to do it in a roundabout way. I move files around all the time, so this is a major inconvenience. I'm a longtime user and I very much hope that they haven't stopped investing in updating this app!
I use this every day and recommend it to everyone. My favorite feature is the annotation summary which allows you to export all your marginalia and -- best of all -- highlighted passages at once. No more copying out quotes, or even laborious copying and pasting. Just highlight with one finger and everything magically appears in the annotation summary when you are done.
Good PDF Editor
I haven't tried it for PDF forms, just static PDF documents, but it seemed nearly perfect.
The viewer was quick and didn't lag (even with large textbook PDF files on my old iPad mini 2), the annotation features were good, though there was unfortunately no stylus support, and the palm recognition was simply *amazing*. I only got it to mess up once, and I put my hand everywhere on the screen.
I liked the ability to move pages around, though I wish it was possible to flip the order. Also, merging PDFs was a little unintuitive, though possible. You have to copy the pages you want from one document and paste them in another, and the pasting can be a little tricky. It's very easy to mess up and paste the pages before the end of the document, and then there's no undo button. I would have liked an undo button, an easier pasting interface, and a way of merging documents by touch.
That being said, this app really helped me start going paperless.
