PDF to Pages Converter Expert 4+

This will not work at all for me. It put my text in text boxes, so it would take a huge amount of time to copy all the text and get it out of a text box.

I’ve used this app to convert two different PDF documents to Pages. The first PDF was a long and complicated document with blanks to fill in and boxes to check and a good bit of other non-text content. This app did NOT handle that long and complicated document well. The second PDF I used it for was a simple document that was almost all text. It worked like a charm for the simple conversion. So, my experience indicates that you can count on it for simple all- or mostly-text documents but not for long and complicated documents. The simpler document did have text surrounded by boxes; to delete the boxes, I had to select all, then manually deselect the text using the command button. A little clunky, but it worked.

It worked! It converted my pdf to pages and then I was able to send that as a word document! Wasn’t hard to do either. Now I gave it 4 stars because the fonts didn’t come over and everything that was bold wasn’t anymore. Didn’t take a lot of effort to change it all back but still would be better if I didn’t have to do it. My favorite part was how everything came across exactly where it was supposed to be. I didn’t have to move anything back into place. For 5 bucks its not a bad app.
