Good concept poor watch connectivity
I really like this app conceptually. It provides a lot of variety of workouts. The trainers are nice and I find that I generally get a good challenging workout with the app. The problem that I have is that the functionality of using Apple Watch as a heart rate monitor is quite poor. When you have a very limited time window for exercise, you don’t want to have to spend an extra 10-15 minutes just trying to get the app to read your heart rate while you workout. Sometimes I can’t even get the watch app to display the workout information at all after starting a workout on the phone. I really wanted to subscribe to this app, but I don’t think I can without significant improvement of the interaction with the watch.

I’ve tried several workout apps and chose this one because it was affordable for all the different workouts that are available . The app monitors your heart rate , finds your optimal workout rate to get maximum benefits. It’s literally like training with a coach.
This said it was crazy frustrated when the watch wouldn’t connect or worse stop connection mod work out therefore not getting any “ring” credit. Also doing two consecutive workouts was a big no no without a reboot.
Thank you for fixing all the issues with the app and Apple Watch , I was about to give up !!! So far so good, keep up the good work:)
My go-to app for working out
I use this app daily for training. I use both the guided training workouts and the tracking only. I have my workouts synched to MyFitnessPal (where I track my nutrition).
I run, cycle, and interval train using the app for mostly tracking but I also love the coached workouts. The foam rolling ones are great for keeping me focused on my target areas. The elliptical and treadmill workouts are perfect for the gym.
I use a Wahoo Tickr x heart rate monitor for my running and cycling so the ANT+ can synch with my Garmin devices while the Bluetooth synchs with PEAR and I can still get the audio coaching.
