VO2Max- Requires user to wear a heart rate monitor.

Subscription- Does not include training plans. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically through your iTunes account, unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. There is no increase in cost when renewing. Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off in Account Settings in iTunes after purchase. Once purchased, the current period cannot be cancelled. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited if you choose to purchase a subscription to PEAR+.

Connect with Health: PEAR app will synchronize the results from your workouts (time, distance, calories, heart rate) with the Health app. It can also read your weight and birthday from Health to calculate your heart rate zones. You can connect to Health in the Settings section of the PEAR app.

I needed new workout recommendations...

I prefer to do my workouts outside. I really hate the gym. So, by default, all I did was run when I needed a workout. Problem is, all the running wasn’t doing good things for my body. I had to stop for a bit and recover. I felt pretty stuck because I wasn’t sure what other exercises I could do instead. I downloaded Pear on recommendation from a friend who used it (ironically) for its running training. Pear has been awesome in recommending new, non-equipment (i.e. no gym) workouts for me that I can do instead of running. I use a heart rate monitor with the app (which is optional) and it gives me pretty accurate feedback and training. It’s almost like having a coach guiding me.
I’d recommend Pear if you’re looking to shake up your normal exercise routine. It’s a lot less embarrassing and cheaper to try a new workout from the privacy of your own home :).

Favorite fitness app!!

I’ve been using PEAR for a couple years now and there really is nothing like it. I am a big fan of group training classes because I like to be told what to do when I work out and love the motivation of an instructor, but workout classes tend to be very pricey and it's difficult to work around the set class times. With PEAR, I get the same benefits of going to a class for a fraction of the cost and on my own time, no matter where I am. There are plenty of different types of workouts and activities so that you never get bored, and you get to train with elite athletes and coaches that you would never otherwise have access to. I’ve made a ton of progress since training with PEAR and never work out without it.

App crashes 😒

I liked the app but didn't get to use it much before it started crashing every time I open it. I had even purchased one of the training programs! Have tried updating and even deleting and adding again. Hope this can be fixed so I can start using it again!
