Good game

I enjoy this game but it does have its drawbacks. Firstly, its a very nice object seeking game with a story line and well detailed pictures. For that reason, i give it four stars. However, energy is replenished far too slowly, requiring multiple periods of long waiting to finish an objective and forget trying to advance in the secondary bonus objectives unless youre willing to shell out some dough. That is quite aggravating. You are required to have internet connection AND To be connected to a facebook account in order for the game to properly function and that i abhor.

I have to add- i just had an in-game issue where i accidentally brushed the screen and the game took a vast amount of my premium currency without any kind of a confirmation. What's worse, despite this flaw in the game design, wooga refused to refund the cash though i was perfectly fine with them reclaiming the item i had no choice in purchasing. So add poor customer support to the list of cons.

** I deleted the game but got very bored recently and decided to try playing again. Now that I have progressed a fair amount i am discovering that there will be days spent waiting unless i spend real money on the game. This will be the end of the game for me. If there is no reasonable way to progress efficiently without spending real money then the game isnt worth playing.

Wearing on my nerves

I've played this game for a long time (level 64 Ireland) and I love how when you first begin a chapter your badges fill up very quickly. When you are at the end of a chapter (and by that time I'm very fast in completing a scene) the badges don't budge at all, even after getting a score of 9 throughout. It's very unfair how they make you wait till your energy builds up to complete a chapter (it took 10 energy points to bring a badge to a sliver away from complete and each scene was completed with a score of 9!) The badges should get filled based on how quickly you complete a scene.
I'm very close to deleting this game from my iPad and from FB. If you want loyal players then please play fair and let the badges fill up according to how well we played the scene. I once paid for extra cash but will not be putting any more money into this game. I'd say I'm about at the end of it.

Greed killed Pearl

I'm at scene 66, The Azores. I've also reached the building Ancient Castle costing 30K coins. I've noticed a significant drop in coins earned during the hidden objects portion. It used to be they accumulated at amounts sufficient to buy both buildings & decorations in order to keep pace with the game. Now, it will cost me $50 in real money just to be able to buy Ancient Castle. It's clear as we get closer to the end, coins earned decrease along with the cost to purchase Buildings/Decorations increasing. We've a choice: Fork over real monies to keep playing or delete the game.
The game is beautifully-rendered, though the developers are off the mark in their historical accuracy. Hidden objects can be very challenging. But the fact it now costs in real dollars just to buy 1 item which alone only partially moves the game along forces me to abandon this long-time favorite.
