Use your iPhone as a step counter. Pedometer++ lets you easily keep track of your daily and weekly step counts, without any impact on your battery life. You can view your progress each day from either the iPhone app, Today View widget or Apple Watch app.'s iOS Health & Fitness App of the Year.

** Requires an iPhone 5s or newer **

For best results make sure that you keep your iPhone on you as you move throughout the day, ideally in a trouser pocket close to your hips.

Pedometer++ integrates with the Health app in order to collect and display data collected by your Apple Watch. It can display your step count, walking distance, active calories and heart rate data.

What's New

Version 3.2.6

A little bug fix for a rare situation where pressing the export button can cause a crash in the app.

Recently added:
- You can now transfer your step history to another iPhone. Simply email the export file (Export.steps) to the new iPhone and then open it. Your steps will be merged into the new iPhone's database. The merge process will keep any steps you have taken on your new phone.
- You can now tap the workout screen in the Apple Watch app to toggle between seeing your total daily steps or only the steps you've taken in the current workout/walk.

Colorful reports make it easy to track your steps

I’ve only had the app for 20 minutes and WOW 😄

This app works and it’s what I’ve been looking for since November 2017 and I finally found it. I’m coming from a Jawbone Up3 and a Fitbit Charge 2 and I love seeing my step count. So naturally, I looked for them on my Apple Watch series 3, it’s there but buried. 😞 I tried to get use to that, but it’s a no go 🙅🏽. Then I found this app and my prayers were answered!!! I’m so happy. This app has given me the best of both worlds (Charge 2 meets Apple Watch Series 3) Not only does it provide a complication but they also merge your Apple Watch data! 🙈🙊 so your step counts are as accurate as can be. This app is the best because I can leave my phone behind and the app keeps on counting. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Cross Forward Consulting, LLC.

Yes the app is free! I am so grateful that I put a tip in the tip jar and they removed the ads. Awesome. Get it, get it, get it!!!!

Awesome, but would love one more option

I really love this app!! However, I a stay at home and I run 5-8 miles a day. I try to keep my phone in pocket at all times. I don’t, but if I did was easily put in at least 20,000 steps per day. I like the rest day option, but if I take two days off after being consistent for 20+ days my streak is broken. Would also love to have a sick day button. I’ll have an amazing streak and if I get sick, I obviously don’t get all my steps in. One time I tried to get at least 10,000 steps in with the flu and that was a big mistake. My bad decision though. A sick button would be great and also, if the app could identify a very active person and if that person misses two days in a row after making daily goal and then some for at least 20 days, the streak would not be broken. I’d pay $10 a month ( maybe more) for this app if had more options as mentioned.
