Customer Reviews

I still love it but...

(I still have the same issues so might as well leave the same review as last time plus a few things)

I have had this app for a while. Even before the major update and when I found it it was just what I wanted. I didn't mind spending money on it and even now I have no regrets, however, I can no longer use it. It ALWAYS crashes after maybe clicking 3 or 4 things, sometimes it won't even open and whenever I open it it opens on a random file and then crashes. Sometimes I can't navigate it and search through the notebooks and files, it becomes unresponsive. The orientation (is that the word?) of the canvas has gone bunkers, now every file is upside down or rotated 90 degrees and I can't fix it with just adjusting the ipad's orientation. If I open a file sometimes I'll just be shown a black screen and if the image eventually appears it appear rotated. To be honest I thought the problem was that I had a 1st gen ipad but a lot of other people seem to have issues with these newer versions of the app. I tried searching for a different app like this but found nothing that could even compare (much less for ios5, since I have 1st gen ipad). So for the moment I wish I could at least have a way to back up the files, and I don't mean just the picture but the layers if it's even possible.

I have toyed with apps like this for years, for about 2 minutes. Usually a huge disappointment. Not this time. The effects look and respond beautifully. For the first time I think I could create a piece, and one that is worth looking at.

I have only used it for a few minutes. I noticed: the marks are crazy smooth - not jagged at all, when you lift to end a line - the marks will taper the end of the lines/marks. Not a blunt digital end. The texture of the paper works with the tools to create a realistic effect.

I spent years painting and drawing. Never seriously considered using my iPad until today.

Thank you for a great app.

Great App

This app is definitely worth $8 in order to buy all the options! It has countless features (including tracing) and is amazing! My only complaint/suggestion is that they should add a paint bucket tool. But this app is still worthy of a 10/10
