Problem since the update (January 2016)

Neurosurgeon gal

I had the initial free chapter of the game on my iPhone and iPad, and loved it. The problem was when I went to buy the full game. I downloaded this app, went to the area to make my purchase "in app", but no matter what area I clicked (the individual sections or the discounted full game) to buy the game, it would just make a clicking noise and that was it.

I wanted to buy the FULL GAME since it is on a special to save 25% (compared to the cost of the 2 other sections purchased separately), and it would do nothing but make a clicking noise. Then I tried to just buy the first paid chapter, and I got the same clicking noise. I tried to purchase the game on both my iPhone and iPad, and had the same results.

I wonder if this was done by the game makers to not let anyone get the discount. I am giving 2 stars for the free first chapter, which was beautiful done, and I am sure that I will give it full 5 stars if it would just let me buy (and play) the rest of the game. People have complained that the game is only about 5 hours of game play, but I think it is worth it for all of the work that has gone into the graphics and speech. I just would like to play the rest of the game.

Needs improvement

The art is good and the plot is interesting, but the game doesn't account for you figuring things out in a different order. I figured out how to open the front door early on, but 5 or 6 scenes later I said, "I've got to figure out how to get the key to open that door." I turned on a light without ever using the flashlight, but then I said, "now I won't have to use that flashlight anymore." The plot isn't linear enough to make it clear what you should and shouldn't do, and then just makes play frustrating. I ended up deleting the game rather than continue to play through the first episode.

Full of bugs!

This is a sweet point-and-click adventure, but it’s so full of bugs it’s nearly unplayable. Halfway through, the text becomes complete gibberish or sometimes even completely invisible, which is really difficult when you need to get through dialogue trees in order to progress, but you can’t see the dialogue options. I was clicking on empty space and hoping I’d selected what I needed to. Even the hotspot markers failed at a certain point, so that I could not see what was or was not clickable. Then the cutscenes died. With all that, the plot became unintelligible. This game needs some serious TLC.
