What's New in Version 2.6
Not very user friendly
Be ready for tons of obnoxious pop-ups. It's also not at all intuitive or useful for someone with irregular periods. I track my ovulation but as far as I've been able to find, there is no actual way to input that information. It predicts ovulation, which might be helpful for some users but not for me. You can add notes but it doesn't make the information easy to find (digging through notes at the dr. rather than just seeing it on the calendar). Not too pleased with this one overall.
UPDATE: I've come across a few more oddities in this app. If you indicate that you are pregnant, it will say "280 Days till Due Date" (or something to that effect) which is cute and all, except that it doesn't calculate back to the first day of your last period (which is how the 280 days are calculated), it calculates as if the day you select you're pregnant. That means, best case scenario, you're off by 4 weeks or so by the time you'd even know you were pregnant, if you thought to select that on the day you found out. As far as I can find there is no way to modify this, so it's not very helpful. Also, your "Days Late" alert (if you don't select that you're pregnant since that function is useless) resets every month. It doesn't say "You period is 60 days late!", instead it resets back to zero every month. Seems like a lot of these things are just very marginally functional to try to get you to buy the upgrade.
Great! I'm a real person!
Honestly this is the best app I've ever found. I've been using this apps for about 4-5 years now and I'll keep using it. I tried looking at others but they are too complicated, I don't need to know when I ovulate (even tho this app does tell you) or write down my symptoms (which you can also do in this app). I looked at other apps because they look cute but they totally fail at their job. If you have irregular periods this might not be the best app for you (they always put the next date of your period 2-3 days before the last period you had) but if you have very regular periods then this is it! I only need to know when I had it last and keep track of it, also be able to look back at a couple months do to doctors appointments. Best thing ever is that I don't have to worry about forgetting when I had it last! I can just look at the app whenever and I don't have to worry about someone going in my phone and looking at it since you can have a password/code to get in! Recently had to reset my phone and try looking for another app and I went right back to this one and it's the last time - I'm sticking with this.
I use this because I'm usually regular schedule. If you aren't usually regular, you can still use this app, as it is very helpful! The estimations are going to be a bit off.
First off, the easy look and theme makes it easy accessible. The menus are easy to tap, however are sensitive. The overall theme can be changed in the settings section. I think mine is setting #2.
Next, is the calendar. This is where you can choose days to take notes, add moods, and set your overall feeling. For example, appetite can be set at 1, 2, 3. Or another example is cramps can be set at 1, 2, or 3 as well! You can also pick a mood for the day such as hyper, moody, or frustrated. Most extra features are in the full edition. But, I messaged a suggestion for the app to 3 friends and got more moods and feelings!!
I can also add notes, my weight, and my temperature. It's easy to add to every day. There are also forums about Q&A about being a girl! There is a section where it can also predict when you will be fertile, have your period, and when you will ovulate! Very helpful for me. I give it 5 stars for myself, but it will vary for different people! Good luck ladies xx
