Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
Persistent Color Picker gives the default OS X Color Picker its own window. You’ll never again lose the color panel when you switch between applications; It’s just always there when you need it!
Copy and paste color values from HTML, CSS, Objective-C, or MacRuby code. Choose between various formats for use when copying to the clipboard.
Use the loupe to pick up colors from anywhere on your screen. Easily create color palettes and share these between all your apps.
What's New in Version 1.1
- Add UIColor support for Objective-C and Rubymotion
- Add support for hexadecimal color codes without leading hashes
Spent a few hours figuring out why my website was looking a little "off" from the mocks. Come to find out, this thing doesn't even pick the right color. Used another color picker, used Photoshop, used an online upload hex value automator - they all specified the same color. This color picker specified a slightly darker version.
Works just as expected; really useful little app. Perfect for getting colors from images, PDF files, etc.
No instructions - Use the "search" Magnifying Glass icon as the Loupe - It does pick the colors from anywhere, but i have yet to figure out how to save the color so I can use it elsewhere
