Good but needs mobile deposit.
I had originally posted about how glad I was there was finally an app. It's still good, it works like it's supposed to. What would make it PERFECT for me is depositing checks through the app... Right now I'm finding it difficult to get to a branch to deposit, I'll end up going a week after I get a check I need to deposit. This feature would make it absolutely perfect for me. I've even considered switching banks solely because of this.
Update: When I saw there was FINALLY an update I got excited, but was sorely disappointed that once again mobile deposit functionality wasn't included. I have absolutely no need to be transferring money to other banks or people, what I do have a need for is mobile deposit. Come on santander!
Not the best.. Needs work!
1.) When signing into the app if your password is longer then the expected length then you canadd random characters after the accepted password length and the password will still be accepted! For example if my password was "helpme" and the expected password length was 5 characters I can type whichever letter I want for the last "e" in the password "helpme". This is most defiantly a security vulnerability.
2.) Doesn't support mobile check deposits. It's 2014 about to be 2015 I think it's time to get with the program. =/
3.) For me it's the little things that bother me. I use this app all the time and it drives me nuts that it's not configured for iphone 6 or 6 plus. Basically, have to look at black bar at the top and bottom of the interface. Grr
With all of the negative reviews and people BEGGING for mobile check deposit it is unbelievably mind blowing that this bank has not made the effort to enable a mobile check deposit. I mean really?! You are the ONLY bank I know of that does not have this simple feature. You guys are slacking terribly. As stated by others, this bank is only good for checking account balance and nothing else. Just plain horrible! Will definitely be changing banks due to their lack of care for customer needs. Get your **** together!!!!
