Great service, simplifies our life

It's great to see all of our accounts tied together! Tracks everything, including real estate holdings, home equity loans, car loans, checking and savings accounts, investments including all retirement accounts, and more. Even tracks credit card transactions and transactions in bank and credit union accounts. We can see the big picture, and also drill down into any one account for details. We have been using it for several years. Much better than Mint for us. Makes our life simpler. We can see all of this as a big picture on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Try it, it's free!

An added optional bonus are the professional money management services offered by Personal Capital.

Near perfect

Im enjoying PC app for more than a year now, although some much needed functionality is missing. This forces me to keep separate apps to track my finances. Functionality I would love to see: bill due date remainders, ability to detect forgotten subscription; notification about upcoming subscription payments. If app would notify about suspicious activity on one of the accounts this would be a game changer. Maybe if everything done properly I even would not mind to pay small couple bucks fee in order to have a single app that helps me to keep track of my finances + saving me money. Overall app is great, I rarely experience any issues and UI is very user friendly. Using both web and mobile versions of the app.

Excellent way to keep an eye on your investments

Personal Capital does a great job of being an aggregator of the information in your investment accounts. Unlike Mint, the focus is on investments rather than monthly budget. It lets you see how your money is invested by providing cuts by various investment types. The analysis is useful if you're even a little bit savvy about investing. For those who want a completely hands off approach, they also offer an advisor service which I haven't tried.

The app is available on web as well. The account sync has some problems especially with banks. But generally it is as good as Mint.

Overall, great free tool to understand your investments.
