Personal Zen is clinically proven to reduce stress by JUST playing a fun game. Built by a team of leading neuroscientists and mobile developers, playing Personal Zen actually retrains your brain to lower stress and anxiety.
Here’s what experts in the field of psychology had to say about Personal Zen:
“Personal Zen brings cutting-edge research and well-established strategies for reducing anxiety and stress into the palm of your hand”
Shannon M. Bennett, Assistant Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry, Weill Cornell Medical College
"Instantly engaging for adults and kids, Personal Zen is a rare example of science turned into fun in order to reduce stress and anxiety"
Dr. Tony Simon, Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, University of California Davis
***LOWER YOUR OVERALL STRESS LEVEL***
To lower your overall stress level our research shows that you should play at least 2-3 times per week, for at least 15-30 minutes per day.
***DE-STRESS WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST***
Use Personal Zen to lower stress before or during any stressful situation.
HOW DO I USE PERSONAL ZEN?
To use Personal Zen look for the hole the happy sprite makes when he burrows into the grass, then swipe the ruffled grass starting from the hole and moving away until you've swiped over all of it. Try and swipe over the ruffled grass as quickly and accurately as you can. Don't get frustrated if you miss some, the healing mechanics of the application will work no matter how fast you do it.
HOW DOES PERSONAL ZEN WORK?
When we get anxious or stressed, we pay too much attention to the negatives and have less ability to see the positives in life. These habits of attention reduce our ability to cope effectively with stress and can create a vicious cycle of anxiety. Personal Zen helps to short-circuit these habits and frees you up to develop a more flexible and positive focus. You can reduce your stress and anxiety in as little as one sitting, and the more you play, the more you strengthen well-being and vaccinate yourself against the negative effects of stress.

Great app to relieve stress
The app lowers your stress level and relieve anxiety all through playing a game and focusing on positivity. Our busy day to day lives sometimes leave us feeling stressed. Anyone can benefit from playing the game 10 minutes a day to keep your stress level down. The music is very relaxing and the design is pleasing to look at. The game is simple to play but still enjoyable. Extremely easy to use and play the game. Achievements are unlocked upon playing the game for longer. I would make achievements easier to get though
I've read all the positive claims for this app from its creators who are very busy marketing it (free, but still . . . ) but I wish there were more to this--more EVIDENCE on the web that it works, more clarification in the instructions ( e.g. I still haven't figured out the meaning of two different colored markers that flash after gathering grass bunches, particularly since I can't discern that I've done anything to affect them), but mainly more interesting and varied things for the player to do -- the action seems endlessly repetitive. Is there ever going to be anything MORE happening? Will the grass chains never be more interesting?
Perhaps that's the point? Ya gotta BE Zen to enjoy playing Zen?
