This application is the new way to search through PetHarbor.com for adoptable pets.

App is broken
Just recently this app stopped working, it was ok but not great now it won't load animals and specifies an error occurred. Please fix. And possibly list good quality photos of all pets along side actually having photos. I notice sometimes pets were listed didn't even carry a photo. Better details listed would be great too. I understand If we have questions regarding an animal we should contact the location but that isn't a productive way just to provide info on the animal especially when I shouldn't have to contact the location for simple questions every time. On the plus side - you have an app that's a start.
Assisted my dog in getting stolen, refused to help me get her back.
I worked with their customer service to attempt to find my dog after her post was removed from the app/website and reported "returned to owner."
After 3 days of the finder not replying to my inquiries, customer service said that if they didn't reply by the 4th day they would call the finder themselves. On the 4th day I still had not heard from the finder and I asked Petharbor to please contact the finder. On the 4th day customer service never replied to me.
During our emails it seemed like dog theft was a common occurrence using this app/website and Petharbor could care less whether or not you actually get your pet back.
By far the worst experience I have had with any consumer facing company ever.
Edit: a day after this review came up I finally got a response. Guess public image > stolen family member.
Use website, not app
I dislike the app lists animals by shelter and I can't sort my distance. So in order to find all the new pets picked up by shelters today, I have to scroll through All pets in shelter A, then all pets in shelter B, all in shelter C etc. there are 12 shelters in my area- this is tedious.
The website allows you to sort by time admitted to shelter, which is what I wanted.
Good concept, poor execution of search function. There should also be an "incorrect listing" flag, like when the colors of cats are incorrect.
For example, I often see orange or white cats labeled as "black", so owners would miss their pet if they only search for "white" cats- which frankly you have to do because of the volume of missing pets.
