TEXAS HOLD’EM ODDS
Start by entering your hand and the cards on the flop. As the round progresses, you can enter new cards on the river, swap out what’s in your hand and even keep track of the other player’s cards.
This app lets you calculate odds like the pros – except with this app, you’ve got an advanced algorithmic processes on your side.
Tapping the arrow next to your odds readout will activate a flip page with more game stats. The bar graph charts your likelihood for each kind of winning hand with color-coded percentages. When you add new data and recalculate, your winning hand projection will adjust to match the new numbers.
When the round is done, hit “Reset” to start again.

Due to the app's layout and bad UI, it took me 5 tries to even check one hand against another. Once you input a card, it doesn't automatically move to the next card so you can be overwriting your original cards thinking that you've entered one and moved on. You to have manually click the unknown card and the annoying layout of cards to choose from takes up way too much space. Then when you try to enter the second hand or go to the "bucket" range, you can back out of it accidentally and it resets everything. Very clunky. And of course no O8 calculator.
this is really helpful
for beginners and intermediate players. you should note the app gives calculations for AFTER the flop, which for a beginner has helped me slowly understand how the math works. i've seen similar tutorials by annie duke, but the videos of Phil's different perspective has been pretty interesting.
Makes no sense
I put in a pair of queens for my down cards. It said I had 0% chance of winning. I dealt the flop with another queen in it. Still 0% chance of winning. It will only calculate odds if I assign an undefined "bucket" to another hand or choose down cards for another player. How would I ever know another players cards without cheating and why would I want to restrict the cards they could get with a "bucket"? It is also slow and the calculation wheel just keeps on turning.
