Many typos in recipes
I’ve tried out three recipes and all three have problems with the recommended temperature setting. For Fries, Potato Wedges, and Pineapple wedges, the recipes called for 12-16 minutes on 180-degrees. This didn’t cook the potatoes or pineapple slices at all. After a little research, I found the correct recipes called for 390-degrees; that’s a huge difference. There are also several preparation inconsistencies between the app recipes and the book that comes with the air fryer.
On top of this, the app is a little buggy, with freezes and sudden crashes.
Hopefully this is just a beta version.
The app is very slow, sometimes it freezes. When you search for something with an exact name it may or may not come up, but if you’re one letter off, it says can’t find any recipes that match your search. And, even if you do get it to come up once you tap on it to open it up, it won’t open. If you use the filters, most of the time it does the same thing. Lastly, measurements are in ounces..... who has time to get a scale out and weigh everything.
This app definitely needs work!
This app needs work. You can revise the measurements from metric to American standard, so that’s not a concern as some had. But there are still issues with recipes that simply will not open. Other recipes will not scroll through the directions. This is difficult to use. Think I’ll stick with the recipe book with the appliance and skip the app. It’s got a few nice features (shopping list for recipes) but nothing I can’t live without.
