Fake news

Lot of opinions passed off as news. Biased. Unbalanced coverage.

How difficult can it be to just GIVE ME THE NEWS?!

I second what everyone else who left a review this month (May 2016) says. Stories don't load. You can wait for hours upon hours and no individual story will load. This happens regardless of the time of day, lately. Many stories display off the screen and you have to guess at the words. (Of course, it's always the interesting stories that "fall of the page.") You can't resize pictures (if you're even lucky enough to get them to load). You can't view in landscape mode unless you trick the app into displaying landscape. (It's not even worth the effort to describe the trick here because, thanks to all of the above issues, you won't even get the opportunity to try this trick.) On the rare occasions when the stories go load, you then have to scroll down and then back up to un-squish a few paragraphs right on the middle if the story (usually it's the section right above the ad insert in the middle of the story.) I'm so done and worn out just trying to get the news that I'm not even gonna go on my "why do we need to see ads at all in this app" rant. Please, all I want to do is to be able to read Philly-centric news and to not have to rely on AP news app.

Unusable Embarrassment

You have a better chance of downloading this app and then throwing your phone into a blender than you do trying to actually use this app. You click on an article to read and it blows up so large you can't read it on your phone... That's of course
when the article actually loads to a landing page... Most of the time you click on the article and it just pinwheels on a blank gray screen. Which pretty much sums up this absolute train wreck of an airplane crash of a dumpster fire of a waste of an app for you otherwise functioning phone. If you download this app, please know that you're literally downgrading your phone by adding a complete piece of unusable garbage that serves less purpose than an already discarded Steves Prince of Steaks Chessesteak wrapper. At lease when you open THAT there will be one little morsel of something worthwhile. This app is like a wet pubic hair stuck to a dirty men's locker room floor. Avoid it, step over it, around it any way you can and maybe warn your friends. The FLU is a better go than this horrid piece of garbage. If I could give it negative 5 stars it wouldn't do it enough negative justice. Don't even bother.
