Phonto supports only English (US), Chinese and Japanese, so when the priority of Chinese (or Japanese) in your setting was higher than English, Phonto would be launched as Chinese (or Japanese) mode.
To solve this problem…
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Choose 'English' in 'General' > 'Language & Region' > 'iPhone Language'.
3. Turn back your 'iPhone Language' to your favorite language.
HOW TO INSTALL FONTS

3. Select "Phonto" in the "File Sharing" section.
4. Drag and drop .ttf or .otf font files into "Documents".
5. Restart Phonto.

What's New in Version 4.7.3
Bug fixes and performance improvements.
I do wish it had an Undo, or a way to save as a layered Phonto file instead of only having the option to export back to Photos. EDIT: the lack of Save As Layered Phonto File (to correct typos you find weeks later w/out re-doing your whole fake poster...) is really the only drawback. Gimme that, five stars.
Some on-board explanation of the difference between exporting to Photos (save) vs Save As PNG would also be useful so I know which is better.
But it's a good way to tweak photos into icons, add text to a screenshot (such as "check out this book!"), or make a pic into a meme-pic. My cat photo is now clearly labeled "BLEP."
Bare-bones UI, but rather powerful under that. I gladly paid to get rid of ads. (When I moved it to my phone from my iPad, I had to Restore Purchases in its Settings, to get No Ads on the phone, too. No extra $, though I would've groused & paid, but an extra step.)
Replaced Adobe Mobile for Me
I do a lot of logo creation and for basic creation of elements this is my go-to app. While Adobe desktop is still needed for more complex tasks, I absolutely love this app over anything Adobe has made for mobile. Well done!
Easy to use
I'm not one of those people who likes to sit around on their phone for hours to figure out how to use an app. This app is really easy for me to figure out and I use it for my job all the time!
