Photo Filter Factory Pro 4+

The interface is very clean and the preset thumbs are large but not obtrusive. This is a nice "toning" app but offers very little else. There are no editing controls, and no adjustments to the 21 or so presets, so you get what the presets give you. Most of the presets are mediocre at best, just run of the mill. There a few good ones, and some that need improvement. The "Soften" filter does nothng but "blur" the image, there is no softening effect at all.

The border feature is a bit weak, as there are no real frames or edges, just a colored or patterned fixed-width border.

The resolution is adjustable during the save operation, a very nice feature. The max res is 2400x2400. The app plays nice with other apps with an "Open In" feature, and it multitasks, and is "social-media" ready. All exemplary features.

All in all, a nice offering, and I sincerely appreciated the ability to try the limited-feature free version before I purchased the Pro version. Although not great yet, I found it worthy of my purchase. It is priced right for the feature-set. I trust the developer will bring more features forward in future updates.

The emboss filter is one of the cleanest I've seen and the reason that I purchased the app. This is definitely worth the money.
