FINALLY ACHIEVED OVER 95% DOCUMENT SATISFACTION

As has been reviewed, I had poor document results. However, I experimented with straightening all portions perfectly with an image program (in my case Adobe Photo Elements), and it worked very well.
Whether your scan portions are horizontal or vertical, just make sure all portions; either page edges or text lines, are perfectly horizontal, or vertical (depending how you scanned them), and the results are much improved.
If some of my portions portions were way off, I would straighten and pre-crop, to to remove extraneous edges.
I also discovered in a few cases, I was stitching too many portions. After examining the portions, and removing excessively duplicative ones, those stitches worked.
From unsatisfied, I am now happy with the application. Yes, I wish I could just dump all portions in; scanned at any angle, and it would work like magic, but it has limitations.
As for images, I had better success without all that preliminary adjusting. I seems to pick up more reference points to self-straighten and merge with images.

Really couldn’t be easier and Im free of the Adobe stranglehold

I used to be a hard core adobe photoshop fan but my version no longer works in the updated OS versions of Mac. I replaced my favorite features of photoshop with other programs and apps at a quarter of the price of replacing or subscribing to adobe, but I was missing the “photomerge” option in photoshop dearly! This replaced it no problem and it has more options for shape/perspective the photoshop. It runs a little slow while loading the final image from hi-res photos from a Nikon D7200 but it’s kind of expected on my end (camera new, computer old). I’ve also noticed that one of the photo panoramics I worked on came out mismatched in one section. I remedied that by taking out the problem image that happen to be an end image and let the other images process first, then added my problem image on last and that solved the mismatch. If I could post my final product for everyone to see I would it’s that nice!

Maybe a little underdocumented, but when it works, it works well

My previous review was one-star, after the program was running indefinitely without output and support wasn't immediately responsive.

Support did get back to me eventually.

After removing duplicate images from the set I was trying to stitch, and truncating the set at a point where highlights from the sun reflecting off water seem to have been throwing off the algorithm, the results are good.

I'd like to see more verbose progress logs to allow debugging when things go wrong (even if those logs are a bit impenetrable, knowing _which_ image can't be fitted in would be helpful), but when this works, it works -- and the price is right.
