Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
PHP Tester allows you to enter PHP code and preview the results on the fly. You either simply write code directly into the embedded editor, or you can load any saved php file. Once your code is ready, just switch to the results tab and it will automatically generate a visible webpage.
This is an EXTREMELY good resource for learning PHP. Rather than requiring a dedicated server or a raw command line editor you can write code and test directly.
What's New in Version 1.0.1
- Fixed resizing of the code window.
- Added fullscreen support.
- Proper application sandboxing.
Only renders static html output
For learning php, I would reccomend setting up MAMP.
Opens static html output of php file in browser:
"rm -f /tmp/php_tmp.html && php $filename >> /tmp/php_tmp.html && open /tmp/php_tmp.html"
Creates static html file output:
"php $filename >> $filename.html"
