Pickn’ Stix is a simple point-and-choose style game, where a player’s close observation of the intertwined sticks allows them the opportunity to earn points by choosing the top stick on the pile. Great-----But.
I loved this game as a kid, and love this free classic version. Only three things wrong. 1-Stupid round spot stays where you touch for a bit and sometimes it doesn't work on the first touch but counts as tho was wrong. You touch same one again and it was right. 2- The scoreboard needs to be a bit more transparent. Sometimes you can't tell if a stix is crossed or not. But if its going to wreck it please leave it alone. 3- Please put an off on switch to the noise. Like to play where some people don't appreciate noise and I seldom like it myself.
I LOVE Pick-Up Sticks!
I feel like a child again, playing pick up sticks, but now I do not have to worry about losing on every try. Just a pleasant sound reminds you to try again. No consequences, except if you are trying to beat your own time. I play it whenever I have to wait for anything, turn down the volume in the bank. I play it for relaxation also. Good for my kids to think ahead and look carefully! All for free! Wonders never cease!
Doesn't really work, no stars
Ok, maybe it's my iTouch but I'll touch a stick and a purple bubble will appear across the board on another stick indicating that I touched that stick and not the one my finger is on. So I don't get anywhere because the game thinks I'm picking sticks everywhere EXCEPT the stick I'm touching. I also don't like the scoreboard covering up the sticks in the corner making it difficult to see them. Last but not least, why the heck do the sticks overlap off screen? I usually like mindless games for when I'm waiting for appointments, on the bus, etc. This one was a definite dud.
