An exciting and beautiful picture card game designed for children aged 9 months to 3 years.
NOTE: As parents, we don't want an app where a child can inadvertently cause charges to your credit card. That's why we don't make a "free" app that relies on in-app purchases. We charge up front and never again. Thank you for your support!
We wrote this app to entertain and teach our daughters, Esther (that’s her in the icon) and Miranda. It makes them laugh and they get to learn about pets, utensils, foods, and other everyday things. We want to share it with other parents and kids.
Filled with professional, high-resolution photographs depicting useful objects, animals, and phenomena, lovingly described by a real mother, you and your child will have fun going through the cards and playing the “Pick the Picture” game. And your child will enjoy the slideshow and have fun discovering how to interact with the iPhone and iPad.
We plan on updating this app over time as Esther grows and learns more objects and words. Thank you for your interest in our app!
Designed specifically for children and parents
+ Little ones love to bang on the screen of the iPhone/iPad. Traditional user interface designs using a “Done” or “Back” button often get triggered accidentally. To prevent this, we made a "special gestures" area at the bottom of the screen. Triple-tap there to go back to the start screen and double-tap there with two fingers to start and stop a slideshow.
+ The “Pick the Picture” game is similar to a Japanese technique for evaluating the cognitive development of toddlers.
+ Your child may have varying attention spans. We designed the game so that you can alter the number of card sets shown per game and also to enable a "Simple English" mode.
+ As your child grows, you can switch from basic vocabulary to more advanced words, keeping his or her interest.
We hope you and your little one will enjoy PickPix Tot. Please check out our other apps, PickPix Chinese and PickPix ABC, which is designed to be a supplement to PickPix Tot.

What's New in Version 2.1
In-app settings; bug fixes.
I am very disappointed in this app. It has many glitches. If the child lays his whole hand on the screen, it accepts it as the right answer. Sometimes it will even accept the same answer for the next group of pictures. I was really wanting to use this for my speech therapy students, but it's way too glitchy. Also would be nice to have an option to choose between 2 or 3 pictures, but the game is very limited...choose from 4 pictures, and that's it! I am sorry I had to spend good money on this app! Should be free.
