Pico Digital Film brings what we love about analog film to digital cameras. Now you can select a film and shoot your photos however you see the world, not just how the camera sees the world.

Pico provides eight different film selections.  If you're shooting vibrant objects, you'll want to use MAX, Ultra, or Plus. Warm color objects like food will look great with Gold, while cool color objects like a winter scene will look better with Xtra. And if you're shooting a moody black and white scene, try Noir. A black and white portrait? Try One. But if you just want to relive fond memories of instant film, XPro will take you there.

As you use Pico Digital Film, you'll see how we're “Capturing Color Differently™.”

What's New

Version 1.0.1

Just a few small fixes:
- Fix for a bug where the exposure slider didn't match the actual exposure bias of the camera
- Fixed the IAP button text getting cut off on smaller screens
- Fixed some Japanese translations issues
- Renamed the album that Pico stores photos in from "Pico Cam" to "Pico"

Great filters!

I hate calling these filters because it really feels like I'm taking pictures on iconic film stocks. I personally prefer the Ultra film... which is probably ironic being that I live in Rochester, the home of Kodak... ;) seriously though, infinite photos for less than the cost of a roll of film!

Wonderfully Polished Photos

Everything about this app is thoughtfully crafted. The subtle differences in the film types create some terrific looking photos. By far my favorite results I've seen in a camera app. Plus, the graphic design on the film boxes is killer.

Really Excellent Filters

I love the quality of these live filters, and the way you can slide your finger back and forth to adjust the exposure is really slick and convenient. My only complaint, and the only thing holding me back from using this as a replacement for the default camera app, is the lack of Live Photos support. I get that it doesn't really jive with the analogue aesthetic, but once you start photographing your kids with Live Photos, it's hard to go back! Really nice app though, and the filters are definitely worth the price (you can preview them before buying as well!).

Developer Response

Live Photos support is a great idea. We'll look into it.
