Designed for the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and the iPod touch (4th generation)*, PoP Video is fun user-friendly app that enables your iPhone or iPod touch to share photos, music videos, personal movies, clips from iTunesU, Web pages, Facebook, YouTube, and more with your PoP Video projector. Have fun with friends by projecting to a movie screen, wall, ceiling, and other light colored flat surfaces.
Other features include:
• Photos in slideshow or individual frame mode
• Customize brightness, contrast, and sharpness settings
• Multiple wallpaper and splash screen options
• Flip flop portrait images to landscape without cropping
*NOTE: This app is designed specifically for the iPhone 4 and newer and the iPod (4th generation) and newer as Apple iOS has limited third party app projection capabilities on the iPhone 3GS and iPod touch (3rd generation). Projection on the iPhone 3GS and iPod touch (3rd generation) via the PoP Video is enabled through Apple's own app programs such as Photos and Videos in addition to a few third party apps such as YouTube.
What's New in Version 1.3
1). Name change Pico-projector to PoP Video.
2). We will now put a more descriptive alert up for location services to be turned on for Photos.
3). Added the ability for the user to update factory reset values for our PoP Device.
4). We are now checking battery levels on the PoP device to ensure that it is correct for use by the customer. If not we now prompt the user to plug in the power to the PoP.
5). The app will now only run with the PoP Projector attached.
6). I have added and alert to the app when it is run on a 3GS.
7). Fixed a problem with the app being able to post to Facebook.
8). If the user pauses a video and exits the playing of the video we start from the pause position next time the video is played.
Enhance the PoP with Go Universal
I have been using my PoP video projector/App since July but the functionality is very limited. As a professional I need the ability to project documents. I recently read a review on a new app, Go Universal that supports document projections. I downloaded Go Universal and I was impressed. This app is amazing! As the other reviews state I can project documents as well as Netflix and LinkedIn.
I highly recommend PoP video users give Go Universal a try
Just figured this out. Try this: turn off the pop projector, connect to your iPhone/itouch, wait for the app pop out window and click allow, turn on your projector. This should work. If not, it is most possible there is a physically bad connection. Try turn off projector and start over again. The connector is EXTREMELY sensitive.
Now both pop video software and go universal app work.
No support? Get the Go Universal app.
I heard that Micron no longer supports this app or the projector. I read a review about the Go Universal app, and just downloaded it. Now I can show Facebook and PDFs and spreadsheets and all kinds of other documents on a giant screen. This really turned my Pop into a business tool. What a great investment!
