This is the most popular pinochle app in the Mac App Store.
Pinochle is a card game played with a deck of 9s, 10s, jacks, queens, kings and aces. The game consists of a repeating sequence of bidding (for the right to name the trump suit and to pass cards), melding, and trick-taking. Players score points by melding various card combinations and by taking tricks.
In this version, choose either single-deck (48 cards) or double-deck (80 cards), and adjust the rules to play the game as you're familiar with it.

What's New in Version 4.2.5
Fixes bug where sometimes robot refuses to lead with 2 cards left.
too many double pinochles
the opposing team gets a double pinochle at least once every 4-5 bids. That never happens in real life. they bid high if they have 3 legs no matter what the rest of their cards are. Not realistic . Also way to many 100 aces and even 1000 aces. When you get the bid your partner should not pass you queens and kings in other suits unless its the you are bidding in a pinochle suit. Otherwise ok. The partner does not pass well.
C H E A T E R S!
I decided to look at the cards my opponents were dealt. After several hands I noticed the West player, the player who follows me ALWAYS got 100 aces if I made the bid and the East player always got 100 aces if my partner got the bod. Also, my partner is not as agressive about a bid if I give him a meld bid; whereas the East/West opponents are very aggressive when one gives a meld bid. I would like the playing field to be leveled! Other than that, the game is very entertaining.
I wish North was consistent with meld bidding. An opening bid of 53 means 30 meld, not 20. Not impressed.
