What's New in Version 5.4.3

The only thing that's changed ... is everything.

Well, OK, not really. The only thing that's changed is these release notes, but we're really excited to tell you that this version of Pinterest already has support for 3D Touch! So if you've upgraded to a new iPhone 6s or 6s+, you'll be able to "peek" and "pop" into Pins, or jump right into search or creating a Board from your home screen.

There's also bunch of new stuff to check out in Apple's latest and greatest version of iOS, and this version of Pinterest has been built to take full advantage of what's available. For example, to quickly get back to that Pin or Board you were looking at, just swipe down and search using iOS Spotlight. So if you've been spending all afternoon looking at chocolate chip cookie recipe Pins, when you get home, just ask Spotlight about chocolate chip cookies and you'll be able to satisfy your craving in no time flat. Also, when a friend sends you a link to a Pin, tapping on it will now just open Pinterest instead of first going to Safari.

Of course, we also fixed bugs based on your feedback (thank you!) and will be rolling out some new goodies such as an improved Pinner Profile view.

Needs to be monitored before put on pinterest!

There needs to be more monitored content. I have found some disturbing pictures that aren't good for 14 year olds. Besides this I like the app and can go to any board easily. However a lot of things need to be monitored before they are posted. Please fix this problem with the inappropriate content. Also please add an anime category (appropriate preferable) 😁. Hello again I am adding on to this at a later time. I read online that you need to check the link or URL before pinning stuff because it could hold viruses and malicious spyware and other stuff like that... I never click the link but sometimes I accidentally click it: I think there should be a feature that when you click the picture to go to the link: it should ask: Are you sure you want to visit this link? This would keep viruses and other junk from getting into your phone, tablet, laptop, or computer, right?

Navigation not so fluid anymore

I have been using Pinterest on my iPad for a long time, I love it. But I really do not like how it has changed lately, mainly, the way you navigate around pins.
When I open a pin in landscape mode, the image is so large that I have to scroll down to see the whole image. Don't like that.
I am constantly, accidentally, opening the browser link for the pin, usually when trying to scroll. That drives me crazy having to exit out of the browser over and over again.
I also don't like how I can no longer just touch outside of the image to close out the pin. Now I have to either touch the back button in the top left corner of the pin, or swipe it down.
The navigation just feels sloppy and inconvenient now. I have found that I haven't been using the app as much as I used to because it's taking so much longer to navigate through the pins. It's just annoying and it makes me quickly lose interest.

Crafts, antiques, etc.

Love this site! I am always intrigued with the wonderful new ideas for my crafts. One thing I would improve, would be when I open the FIRST window for my own boards I would if like it if THAT board of MY boards was in alphabetical order. I would also like to stop receiving notices from total strangers that they like my boards. I don't mind that they see it. I just don't care if I have 15 notices from people that I don't even know. It would be wonderful if you could encourage people who leave their fabulous ideas that they present each project with complete explanations/directions/
materials on how to do their projects instead of just a picture. This is very disappointing to find an awesome idea that is only represented by a photograph of that project and NOTHING else.
