Customer Reviews

Ok I absolutely love this app, I'm completely addicted to Pinterest but I have only one request... I think we should have the ability to delete any unwanted pins on our newsfeed and I have a funny story behind this: I'm totally into baking and so most of my pins are related to sweets and stuff like that. Well while I was trying to look up Bon bons I accidentally clicked on bondage when I tried tapping the search bar and so apparently that's one of my "interests" so I'm getting all this kinky sex crap on my newsfeed and I'm totally not into that and I don't know what reporting it would do to help but I really want those pins off of my newsfeed and I wish I could delete them but I can't or I haven't found out how to yet so I would GREATLY appreciate if you would consider allowing us to delete unwanted pins from our newsfeed😊

Ok this is an update: after doing research I figured out that even if we unfollow something then we still get the pins that people post to that thing (in my case bondage) and I really don't agree with that... If I unfollow it then that means I don't want any pins related to that at all. Could you please change that to where we no longer get pins from something we unfollow?? That would be really helpful!

It crashes constantly and the updates are infuriating.

Since the most recent update I have been getting on less and less and it's only because the app is crashing constantly. I can usually only pin one or two things before it freezes and closes out. As you can imagine this is incredibly infuriating.
I don't really like the "suggested pins" feature. I feel like Pinterest did this a few months ago and I went through and hid all of those suggested pins because I like to keep my newsfeed relatively clean and tidy. Recently I don't mind it so much, as it's actually suggesting pins I might like, but I still don't like the feeling that it's crowding up my news feed. It's hiding all the pins I do want to see by the people I actually have chosen to follow. Maybe it could be adjusted to a new tab? Or under the "search" option? Then we can still access those suggested pins but only when we want to.
Also, just because I am Facebook friends with someone does not mean I want to be notified every time they pin or like things. If I wanted to be updated on their pinning trends and habits I would just follow them.
I still love Pinterest I just can't use it.

I used to really love Pinterest...

I don't normally write reviews, and I have always suggested to everyone that they get on Pinterest. But the last couple of updates have really affected my opinion. Last update was constant crashing/freezing. Fortunately with the latest update that happens less often. It wasn't a deal breaker though. What really bothers me is the large amount of promoted pins. I understand that they want to put some in there and that it helps their bottom line and I don't mind seeing a few when I'm scanning popular and whatnot. I really don't like that they show up on the home page! That's my area where what I choose and who I choose shows up. So I feel like they are invading upon it. Lately though even when just looking through the categories the amount they throw in is staggering. They are original, they aren't interesting, and they aren't useful. What irritates the most is that there doesn't seem to be a large supply either cause the same ones keep showing up over and over. It's bothersome to see the same pin every 10 pins. If it keeps up I won't be using Pinterest in the same way I have in the past.
