Most fun card game ever

I did some research on card games on the internet and stumbled on this game from the late 1500s in France, which then became wildly popular in England in the 1600s. Since I had to choose a puppy name with a card theme, I named her Piquet Carte Blanche. Then I thought for fun I would see if there was an app, expecting I would be disappointed. But yea, there was an app, I got it, and am having a great time learning this game. The app lets you know what you need to do, so no confusion there. It seems like it could be a precursor to Whist or Bridge, since there is a form of bidding. Love it!

Piquet is a great card game. This is the first version of the game available on the IPad. It plays very well and is a lot of fun. The interface makes it pretty easy to learn. My only disappointment with this game is the artwork, it is rather childlike and unrefined. A more artistic deck of cards and better artwork would add to the flavor of the game. The price is also a bit high considering there is no online play. However, this is a very enjoyable game to play and quite unique. I am glad I made the purchase.

Read about this game in books. Wondered how it was played. Found this app. Teaches you how to bid. Amazing players used to bid thousands of pounds on the outcome. It isn't that easy to predict.
